The Board of Directors of COENER, in use of its legal attributions, has decided to create the "Dr. Carlos Lee Award", who was a founding member of this Organization and a distinguished citizen and professional.

Dr. Lee was an exceptional teacher and a holistic student of energy, with a special gift for transmitting his knowledge to his classmates and citizens in general.

The Dr. Carlos Lee Award was created to honor professionals related to the country's energy activity, in recognition of their scientific and / or technological achievements and their contributions in the dissemination of knowledge and professional experiences.

The Dr. Carlos Lee Award will have the following characteristics:
.
It will consist of a diploma with the name of the winner, which will be delivered by the Board of Directors of COENER in an act of the Organization, and signed by said Board.
The award will be awarded annually.
Candidates for the award do not have to be members of COENER.
Candidates for the award must be presented to the Board of Directors by at least 2 members of COENER. The presenters must highlight the merits of the candidate to deserve the award.
There can be up to 2 award winners in the same year.
The award will not be awarded posthumously.

Gustavo Coronel
